About the college

Rajalakshmi Engineering College was established in the year 1997 under the aegis of Rajalakshmi

Educational Trust whose members have had consummate experience in the fields of education and

Industry.

Department of Management studies, is a proud constituent of the Institution since 2002 with

its excellent infrastructure, and eminent staff members.

Venue

The college is situated at Thandalam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India on the Chennai-Bangalore

National Highway (NH 47) about 12 Kilometers from Airport (the nearest international airport) and

16 Kilometers from Koyambedu (the nearest Bus junction). It is well connected by road and rail.

About the department

Right from its inception in the year 2002, the Department of Management Studies at REC

offers the MBA Programme which is highly rated for its excellence, both in terms of imparting value

based management education and inculcating social values to the students of MBA programme. The

Department of Management Studies is committed to transform MBA students into Contemporary

business leaders, through sustained strategy of innovation, quality improvisation and value addition,

thereby significantly contributing to all the stakeholders and the society as a whole. The Department

of Management Studies organizes conferences, FDPs, MDPs, Workshops and training programmes

regularly enhancing both professional and personal values among students and faculty.

global growth and as a source of stability. The theme of this conference—“Economic

Transformation, Sustainability and Inclusive Growth”—is timely and is relevant for India, China

The participants are requested to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.

The organizing committee will support with information related to hotels near the conference venue.

1. All the abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings

2. Selected papers will be published in UGC sponsored reputed Journals.
